Josera's daily activities are always focused on our responsibilities towards the environment, nature, animals, our fellow human beings and future generations. We have therefore consolidated all aspects of sustainability – economy, ecology and humanity – into one specific goal: to be completely climate-neutral by 2020. In order to achieve this goal, our sustainability strategy represents a pledge to offset all CO2 emissions created by our products. For this reason, we support the Ntakata Mountains forest preservation project as active partner in cooperation with Carbon Tanzania and myclimate.

In order to continue to optimise our environmental work, we also continually test all our processes and products as part of our environmental and energy management system. For instance, resource-efficient production and environmentally-friendly transportation sustainably reduce the environmental impact of our business activities. We have already received numerous awards for our activities and commitments to saving energy and reducing CO2 emissions.

In 2018, JOSERA was the first petfood producer to publish a sustainability report. This report meets the guidelines of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI).
